Over the last 18 months to 2 years there has been an increase in the correlation between forward prices in the oil, gas, electricity and now emissions markets. This correlation isn't always perfect and it isn't always predictable but it highlights the growing need to view the energy complex as a whole rather than as a series of isolated markets. Platts invites you to join us at a free Forum on May 30 to discuss recent trends in energy prices and the relationship between the various parts of the energy complex. We would also like to present to you new Platts initiatives aimed at addressing these relationships better and providing the market with more useful price analysis tools. Reasons to attend:
- Understand and better analyse the relationships between energy products
- Look at market trends and see what the future might hold
- Find out what is driving emissions prices
- Discover how and why Platts has made the methodology change to market on close (MOC)
- Learn about Platts plans for future coverage of the Eastern European market
